USE:
One side of the tester is designed for testing the trailer plug and the other for diagnosing the car socket.
PLUG (TRAILER) TEST:
Connect the plug to the tester.
Press the yellow button on the side of the tester.
If the light is GREEN the installation is OK.
If the indicator light is RED the installation is DAMAGED or the bulb is BURNT.
SOCKET TEST:
Connect the tester to the socket in the car
Turn on a specific light e.g. brake or turn signal.
Press the yellow button on the side of the tester.
If the socket is OPERATIONAL the active light indicator will turn GREEN.
If the socket is DAMAGED (or the installation is FAULTY) the light will remain RED.
SPECIFICATION:
The tester is designed for 13-pin (13-pole) plugs and sockets.
The tester is powered by a 9V battery (not included).

NOTE 1: Due to the low load of LED lamps the tester is not suitable for checking installations in trailers based on LED lighting.
NOTE 2: To avoid damaging the tester or causing problems with the electrical system never connect the device to both the trailer and the vehicle at the same time.
